Harry P. Schlanger
Hello,
I started out as a physicist working for research organisations. Mostly in the area of heat transfer in solids and porous media. Then with the advent of PCs I changed careers to writing software, especially Microsoft products, for example Visual Basic and Microsoft databases such as Access and SQLServer.
After the dot com collapse, us contractors found themselves out of work for the first time. I decided to retrain in teaching high schools in the area of mathematics, physics, and IT. Although the information industry is now once again prospering, I decided to stay in teaching.
One of my hobbies is technical analysis of stock markets and I'm also interested in global politics and issues. I believe I have the background to be able to write non-fiction works in a very wide variety of topics. I also started my own website to store articles at http://smart-koala.com.
